Heat Treat

Heat Treat

What we offer

Our Commercial Steel Treating facilities have been opened for business since 1927, providing a service of sheer excellence mixed with a current capacity for continuous belt processing of 500.000 pounds per day. We offer many services in our heat treating facilities, but most of our work is done through belt and induction hardening.

Belt

Our continuous Belt lines dedicated to neutral hardening are our bread and butter; continuous heat-treating equipment such as furnaces offer higher productivity since they can process a larger volume in a shorter amount of time than batch equipment, which is something we’re moving away from.

Induction Hardening

The high-precision process thus causes fewer distortions, enables process data acquisition at part level thanks to single-work-piece-flow and at the same time consumes significantly less energy than case hardening or flame hardening processes. Powered by green electricity, induction hardening enables CO2 emission-free production.
